About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for Recording Engineering to provide senior-level technical expertise across Trader Voice Services, regulatory call-recording platforms, and related voice capture infrastructure.

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Recording Engineering) provides senior-level engineering leadership for trader voice services and regulatory recording platforms. This role oversees critical voice capture technologies, supports trading floor operations, guides L1 delivery teams, and drives cloud migration initiatives. This person will partner with global teams to ensure compliant, reliable recording across voice, UC, MS Teams, and video environments, delivering timely support in highly regulated, business-critical trading operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engineer, configure, administer, and support regulatory call-recording and voice-capture platforms, including NICE, Verba, Proteus, Continuity Replay, Vodafone, and related technologies

  • Integrate recording solutions across Trader Voice, IP Telephony, Unified Communications, MS Teams capture, Voice-as-a-Service platforms, video technologies, and regulated user profiles

  • Troubleshoot end-to-end call-capture flows, platform performance, infrastructure issues, and production incidents to prevent compliance recording gaps during business-critical trading hours

  • Manage platform maintenance, patching, upgrades, firmware updates, vulnerability remediation, lifecycle planning, capacity, storage, operating systems, databases, and infrastructure resiliency

  • Support cloud migration and modernization efforts by developing technical plans, migration runbooks, implementation sequencing, and hybrid or cloud-hosted transition approaches

  • Serve as a senior technical lead for L1 engineering delivery teams, providing escalation support, mentoring, training, process guidance, and technical oversight

  • Maintain knowledge articles, standard operating procedures, runbooks, and operational documentation to support consistent triage, diagnostics, incident handling, and escalation

  • Use Jira to manage work intake, prioritization, sprint activities, delivery tracking, dashboards, metrics, leadership updates, and SLA-focused execution

  • Participate in on-call rotation, after-hours support, weekend implementations, and holiday coverage as needed

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for call recording, voice integration, compliance recording support, and related infrastructure services while cross-training in adjacent technology domains

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 4+ years of experience supporting NICE, Verba, Proteus, Continuity Replay, or similar enterprise compliancerecording solutions.

  • 4 years of experience working with Trader Voice, IPT Voice, UC, and MS Teams capture

  • 4+ years of experience delivering work through Jira boards or equivalent Agile tools

Desired Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with NICE Trader Recording (NTR) or Verba Financial Compliance (VFC)

  • 2+ years' experience with virtualization technologies VMware, HyperV, or any other virtualization technology

  • 2+ years of information security experience

  • Experience with Proteus, Continuity Replay, or Vodafone recording integrations

  • Experience migrating between recording platforms or performing platform consolidation

  • Experience with onprem to cloud migration of infrastructure or application workloads

  • Strong understanding of build/deploy pipelines, release management, and configuration management tools

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure (networking, compute, storage, data centers)

  • Experience with lifecycle management including patching, maintenance, health checks, decommissioning

  • Understanding of business continuity (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
