$70,304.00/Yr. - $86,000.00/Yr.
Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

About This Job
As a member of the Axos Commercial Banking team, the Sr. Relationship Onboarding Associate will manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new and complex Commercial Banking clients. You will play a vital role to ensure a seamless client account onboarding experience. You will also work closely with clients to capture Treasury Management setup requirements. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Relationship Managers, Treasury Management Sales Officers, Operations and Compliance to facilitate a smooth transition for clients while adhering to defined service level agreements and ensuring an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new Commercial Banking clients, including account setup, documentation and due diligence collection, and capture of Treasury Management services and Online Banking setup requirements
  • Work with clients directly and collaborate with Relationship Managers and Treasury Management Sales Officers to gather client requirements and ensure a thorough understanding of client needs and expectations
  • Conduct due diligence on clients to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies while working closely with Compliance and BSA officers to ensure adherence to anti-money laundering (AML), know-your-customer (KYC), and other regulatory requirements
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during the onboarding process, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
  • Coordinate with internal Operations teams to ensure the timely and accurate setup of accounts, products, and Treasury Management services while ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures related to client account and Treasury Management onboarding

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of prior experience in Treasury Management, Commercial Banking, client onboarding, or a similar role within a financial institution
  • Solid understanding of banking products and services, particularly related to Treasury Management
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including AML and KYC
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and build relationships with clients
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under time constraints in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and systems, including Treasury Management platforms and Microsoft Office suite
