Kruse Motors is looking for a Lube Technician! A Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles to ensure they are properly maintained, safe, and ready for operation. This entry-level role plays a vital part in supporting the service department by delivering high quality service that contributes to excellent customer satisfaction. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform oil and filter changes in accordance with manufacturer guidelines

  • Mount and balance, rotate, and inspect tires for wear and proper inflation

  • Check all essential vehicle fluids (coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, windshield washer fluid, etc.)
  • Conduct multi-point inspections and communicate findings to service advisors effectivelyย 

  • Attend and successfully complete all factory and company training as required

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Follow all company safety polices and procedures

Skills and Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and shop conditions

  • Integrity, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic

  • Good communication skills and a team player mind-set

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

  • Valid drivers license

  • Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required

  • Basic mechanical knowledge and a willingness to learn

  • Ability to operate automotive tools and equipment safely

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday

  • Some Saturdays
