Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.

This job is ON - SITE.

FTE: 1.00

Standard Hours: 40.00

Shift: Shift 2

Shift Details: 2pm-1030pm responsible for 2nd and 3rd shift operations

Holidays: 2 per year Weekends: When needed

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Operations Manager of Environmental Services and according to established organizational and departmental policies and procedures, this individual is responsible for the supervision of all Environmental Services functions and services throughout the hospital and associated clinic. This individual assures that the facility is maintained in a manner that is consistent with organizational and customer expectations and standards regarding cleanliness, aesthetics, safety and infection control. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of 1 year of formal leadership experience is required.

In lieu of formal leadership experience, 3 years of EVS or Linen experience or a Bachelor's degree in business will be accepted.

Formal leadership experience preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Bachelor's degree is preferred.

TRAINING DESCRIPTION:

AHE membership and/or CHESP accreditation is preferred.

Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Demonstrates analytical and organizational, problem-solving, critical thinking, and conflict management/resolution skills.

Demonstrates integrity, independent thinking, judgment, and respect for others.

Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership.

Ability to provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external patients/customers.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in the following: Microsoft Office, EPIC, Kronos, Press Ganey, Lawson, Midas, SharePoint, and TMS. Knowledge of Six Sigma A-3 lean process improvements.

Knowledge of waste management and the different waste streams that may occur within the healthcare setting.
