Job description

What you will do

Maintenance Supervisor to manage our 1st. shift team.In this role, under minimal supervision, perform highly diversified duties to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and modify manufacturing equipment and facility equipment to help achieve the site's business goals and objectives. Maintain and improve mechanical and electrical equipment for five manufacturing areas.Accountable for all maintenance, storeroom, and wastewater resources on your shift.

How you will do it

  • Keep the plant and equipment operating in a state that delivers the planned production capacity while delivering the required product quality for the least maintenance cost

  • Manage and track KPIs, such as OEE, MTTR, MTBF, PM/PdM Compliance, and Schedule Compliance. Support TPM and Reliability Excellence initiatives.

  • Maintain and uphold Clarios quality standards for product and workmanship.

  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are safely and appropriately carried out.

  • Provide communication, coordination, and cooperation with operations and other departments to achieve plant daily targets, monthly KPI's, and business objectives.

  • Oversee Work Management processes (especially work identification, execution, and completion) and Materials Management processes (especially stores issue, receipt, cycle count, organization) on your shift.

  • Monitor work progress against the plan and schedule, and make adjustments as needed. Assure job clean up, data entry, documentation, and follow-up work orders are created as needed.

  • Provide leadership by effectively guiding the maintenance team to do the right work in the right way.

  • Actively build cohesion in the maintenance department and a more proactive culture.

  • Actively engage in continuous improvement of business processes.

  • Effectively interact with other departments to ensure the proper functioning of all systems in the plant.

  • Comply with all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures, including periodic review and update of maintenance related procedures.

  • Provide mechanic scheduling (including overtime), timecard review, and issue resolution.

  • Conduct performance reviews of direct reports. Discipline direct reports as required.

What we look for

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Engineering, Business, or Operations preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing setting

  • 1+ years as a maintenance supervisor in a manufacturing setting

  • 3+ years of experience with mechanical process equipment, PLC, electrical components, pneumatics, and hydraulics

  • Experience reading drawings and schematics

  • Creativity and problem solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills and the ability to motivate team members.

  • Experience with Maximo CMMS and Kronos timekeeping is a plus.

This position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as further described below.

The position has a salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 per year. This role may also include opportunities for a bonus based on performance.
