We are seeking an Engineering Associate to support manufacturing engineering and production activities for a leading aerospace organization. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in manufacturing processes, quality, and continuous improvement who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support manufacturing engineers with daily engineering and production activities.
  • Perform Verification of Build (VOB) activities to ensure products are built according to engineering requirements.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Support PFMEA, Process Flow Diagrams, and manufacturing process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Assist with quality documentation, process validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve production issues.
  • Support multiple aerospace product lines, including heat exchangers, coolers, fans, actuators, and vapor cycle machines.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, quality engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with PFMEA, Process Flow Diagrams, and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Experience conducting manufacturing or quality audits is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with aerospace manufacturing or NADCAP special processes is a plus.
