Your role at Clorox:

The CAS Team Manager for Kroger serves as the category strategy leader and primary advisor to both Kroger and internal Clorox teams. This role is responsible for setting the vision for category growth, translating analytics and shopper insights into actionable strategies, and elevating Clorox's position as a trusted category partner.
This leader drives thought leadership across multiple categories (e.g., Food, Charcoal, Homecare, Trash), ensuring recommendations are shopper-first, insight-led, and aligned to Kroger's priorities. The role also leads and develops a small team while influencing cross-functional partners and senior customer stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Set and lead the overall CAS strategy for Kroger, aligned to Joint Business Planning priorities and long-term category growth objectives
  • Serve as the thought leader, connecting category analytics and shopper insights into clear, actionable strategies
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to deliver high-quality analysis, insights, and strategic output
  • Own and elevate category strategy development, ensuring recommendations are shopper-first and insight-led
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Business Units, Shopper Insights, and Category Leadership to align priorities and influence decisions
  • Lead customer-facing engagements including line reviews, assortment strategy, shelf optimization, and growth initiatives
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with Kroger merchants and category leaders
  • Identify and scale best practices across tools, processes, and storytelling within CAS
  • Deliver best-in-class analytics including category assessments, post-promo analysis, market diagnostics, and KPI/scorecard development
  • Maintain a strong shopper-first mindset while balancing category growth, retailer priorities, and brand performance

  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of CPG, Sales, Category Management, Customer Analytics, or related experience.
  • Experience working with national retailers; Kroger experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams and managing complex business initiatives

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.


-Zone A: $131,200 - $258,500

-Zone B: $120,300 - $237,000

-Zone C: $109,400 - $215,500
