What is a KPMG IT audit?

A KPMG IT Audit is an evaluation of an organization's information technology systems, processes, and controls, conducted by professionals from KPMG, one of the 'Big Four' accounting firms. The audit assesses the effectiveness, efficiency, and security of IT systems to ensure compliance with regulations and support accurate financial reporting. KPMG IT auditors review areas such as data security, access controls, system development, and IT governance to identify risks and recommend improvements. This service helps companies protect their data, improve IT processes, and meet regulatory requirements.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an IT auditor at KPMG?

To excel as a KPMG IT Auditor, you need a solid background in information systems, risk management, and auditing, often supported by a degree in IT, Accounting, or related fields.
