Job description

Overview
KORT is Kentucky's premier provider of outpatient physical and occupational therapy specializing in orthopedics, sports and industrial medicine. Since 1987, KORT has provided clinical and customer service excellence to patients in our clinics, at employer sites, and with high school, college, and professional sports teams.
In addition, KORT Home Health also provides home health services in Southern Indiana including: post-operative physical therapy; fall prevention; vestibular rehabilitation; wound care; and more.
Rate: $65.00/visit for standard visit; mileage reimbursement at the government rate.
Counties served: Scott, Jefferson, and Clark
Responsibilities
Evaluates, plans, and administers Occupational therapy treatment for patients in the home setting. This care includes appropriate utilization of treatment plans and assessment skills, Careful monitoring of the patient's status a progress towards goals as well as compliance with physicians orders. Responsible for educating patients and caregivers while preparing the patient/caregiver for discharge as appropriate. Maintains communication with physicians, staff, and general public. OT supervises the COTA's.
Qualifications
  1. The Staff Occupational Therapist position requires a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited university, Professional Licensure in the State of Indiana, and CPR certification is mandatory. Automobile liability insurance and current unrestricted drivers license.
