In one of these roles, you may translate existing material, transcribe audio recordings into another language, or research information in Korean. This field often involves translating content at some level, though this may not always be apparent to clients or customers. Many people choose to specialize in specific areas that require the use of Korean. For example, medical translators study and learn a variety of complex, industry-specific terms to better translate things like medication guidelines, while remote interpreters may specialize in fast translation during ongoing conversations.
