Job description

Immediate need for a talented Financial Analyst - Korean. This is a 06 month contract opportunity and located in Plano, TX (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $30 - $36/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities;

  • Budget management tracking department budgets and additional new project budgets
  • Financial forecasting and simulation modeling revenue impact and analyzing operational expenses against company profit schedule
  • Investment review evaluating both capital expenditure (infrastructure) and operational investments (retail expansions, promotional spend, actual expense tracking)
  • Reporting to South Korea headquarters reports prepared in Korean; liaison between US team and Korean HQ
  • Physical sample management tracking incoming/outgoing product samples, maintaining accurate sample data to prevent financial obligation risk or regulatory exposure (approx. 20% of role; can be trained on the job)
  • Internal and external communication emails and reports in both Korean and English with department heads, budget stakeholders, and Korean counterparts
  • Excel-based data analysis downloading and processing large data sets; building and eventually owning financial models independently (initially may work from existing templates, but expected to develop own models over time)

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Korean English bilingual fluent in reading, writing, and speaking (non-negotiable)
  • Understanding of Korean corporate culture (strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel pivot tables, advanced formulas; ability to eventually build models from scratch
  • 1 3 years of job-related experience in finance or accounting
  • Bachelor s degree
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance (other backgrounds also considered)
  • Experience with financial modeling and budget simulation
  • Background in sample management or inventory data management
  • Familiarity with investment review processes (CapEx and OpEx)
