Job description

Great River Health in Burlington, IA has an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative team in our Nephrology practice.   

  Position Highlights:

  • Variety of Practice: Split between clinic visits, inpatient hospital rounding, and coverage of outpatient dialysis centers. 
  • Collaborative Team: Work alongside 3 experienced nephrologists, 1 excellent nephrology NP and a dedicated care team. 
  • Schedule: Full-time, with a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. 
  • Support & Training: Orientation and ongoing support provided; nephrology or internal medicine experience preferred

Qualifications: 
* Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Iowa or eligibility).
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
