STATUS: PART-TIME (NON-EXEMPT)

POSITION SUMMARY
The Part-Time Events Janitorial Team Member plays an important role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests during events. This position supports facility operations by maintaining restrooms and common areas, managing trash removal, and ensuring the overall appearance of the venue meets high standards. The role requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a team-oriented event setting.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
  • Act as a liaison between the venue and the guests
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Removal of trash throughout Complex as needed
  • Cleaning of restrooms throughout Complex as needed
  • Clean and organize designated areas for public use
    • Red Quad, White Quad, Blue Quad, Fastpitch Stadium, Space Coast Stadium, Junior Stadium, and other areas as needed.
  • Demonstrate ability to work closely with co-workers and park visitors
  • Knowledgeable in all Safety Procedures with the ability execute procedures
  • Identify risk management opportunities
  • Conduct safety inspections and enforce all safety guidelines
  • Perform operating procedures relating to events and programs
  • Adhere to all facility and SFM policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all local, state, health and safety laws
  • Perform all duties as assigned by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays and long hours)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Must work well with others
  • Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility
  • Commitment to the safety and well-being of others

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time both indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend
  • Must be able to work in varying weather conditions
  • Will be required to operate a computer
  • Facility has intermittent noise
