Endocrinologist for LifeBridge Health

Location: Baltimore, Maryland

Overview

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, a nonprofit teaching hospital affiliated with George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist.

The Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism consists of five Endocrinologists and two Nurse Practitioners.

Our experts are highly skilled in: General Endocrinology, Diabetes, Thyroid disorders, Thyroid Cancer, Osteoporosis, Metabolic Bone Disorders, Calcium Disorders, Pituitary and Adrenal Diseases, Women's Health, Thyroid Disease in Pregnancy, Nutrition, Medical Weight loss, Preventative Cardiology and Lipid Management


Core Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat Comprehensive Endocrine care including: Thyroid diseases, Diabetes, Lipid disorders, Osteoporosis and calcium disorders, Diseases of the pituitary and adrenal glands
  • Provide outpatient care and inpatient Endocrinology consultation (rotating call schedule)
  • Supervise and teach residents and medical students

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of Endocrinology Fellowship
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • Eligible for Maryland Medical License (unrestricted)
  • Active DEA and CDS licenses
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Procedural skills: Thyroid Fine Needle Biopsy and DEXA are preferred; not required
