Job Description General Manager - Eastern Iowa Location: Cedar Rapids, IA Salary: $140,000-$155,000 Base + Performance Bonus Expected Total Compensation: $200,000-$350,000 The Opportunity We're looking for an experienced General Manager to lead an established home services operation in Eastern Iowa. This is a true business leadership role with full P&L ownership. You'll be responsible for growing revenue, improving margins and cash flow, strengthening operations, and developing a high-performing team.

We want someone who understands the numbers, knows how to lead people, and can turn strategy into action. What You'll Do Own the P&L and overall business performance Increase revenue, margins, and profitability Grow the service and installation sides of the business Identify and implement operational improvements Establish and track key performance metrics Lead, develop, and hold the team accountable Work directly with ownership on strategy and business priorities Improve systems and processes without creating unnecessary bureaucracy Maintain a high-performance, low-drama culture First 90 Days You'll be expected to: Learn the business and understand the key drivers of the P&L Build strong relationships with employees and ownership Identify opportunities to improve revenue, margins, and cash flow Begin implementing priority operational changes Develop a clear plan for long-term growth and profitability What We're Looking For 5+ years of leadership/operational experience Strong financial knowledge and P&L management experience Proven ability to improve business performance Strategic and operational mindset Strong leadership and communication skills High-energy, disciplined, and driven Friendly and approachable with a low-ego leadership style Valid driver's license Preferred Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, home services, mechanical contracting, or a similar field-service business is preferred. A BBA or MBA is helpful but not required.
