Job Description: Convenience Store Manager
Employer: CD Okemos 10, LLC (dba Mugg amp;Bopps)
Department: Retail Operations
Reports To: Multi-Unit Supervisor / Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (unless otherwise designated)
Position Summary
The Convenience Store Manager is responsible for overall store performance, including sales growth, customer experience, staffing, training, inventory control, cash management, compliance, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead store operations to achieve sales, profitability, and service goals.
  • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and evaluate store associates.
  • Develop schedules and manage labor to meet budget and business needs.
  • Ensure consistent execution of company standards for merchandising, cleanliness, and customer service.
  • Oversee inventory ordering, receiving, stocking, and shrink control.
  • Maintain accurate cash controls, deposits, and store financial paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health codes, fuel procedures, and restricted sales regulations.
  • Respond to customer concerns and ensure appropriate resolution.
  • Complete required audits, reports, and operational checklists on time.
  • Coordinate maintenance needs and ensure the store is safe and operational.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong leadership, training, and performance management skills.
