Assistant Front Office Manager
Luxury Resort | Montana, USA
Compensation
  • Base Salary: $70,000 / year
  • Housing: Eligible for subsidized colleague housing (based on availability)

Role Overview
Manages daily Front Office operations and colleagues across the full guest stay - arrival through departure - supporting service delivery, guest preference tracking, and issue resolution. Oversees Front Office in the Manager's absence and escalates extraordinary cases as needed.
Key Deliverables
  • Team leadership - supervise, schedule, train, and coach the Front Office team; monitor adherence to policy and LQA standards
  • Guest satisfaction - resolve complaints/disputes, track guest issues, and act on guest preferences and feedback across departments
  • Daily operations - manage day-to-day Front Office quality and standards, update SOPs, and ensure proper room assignment per booking/preferences
  • Revenue support - maintain rate/room type knowledge, support upselling initiatives, and enforce credit control procedures
  • Cross-functional coordination - provide reports to Finance, liaise with third parties, and maintain strong departmental relationships
  • Hands-on coverage - cover night shifts and Front Desk/Guest Relations/Guest Services/Butler duties during high demand
  • Emergency & compliance - execute emergency response plans and comply with hotel health, safety, and security policies

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years as a Front Office/Assistant Front Office Manager in a luxury 5-star hotel
  • Proficiency in hospitality revenue management, guest services, and team development
  • Previous customer service and reservations experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills; fluent in written/verbal English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Opera PMS
