Knowledge Manager
Salary: 90 - 100k

Position Overview
The Client is looking for a Knowledge Management and Communications Specialist responsible for knowledge dissemination within the organization and making sure the knowledge is flowing efficiently throughout the organization. Conducts creative and strategic skills, as well as increased resourcefulness with the ability to collaborate efficiently within the organization environment and ability to share in collective vision. Liaison between client and technical teams and drive innovative solutions, leverage best practices and practical education, learning and training purpose.
Duties:
  • In-depth description of the position duties and responsibilities:
  • Create and manage SharePoint sites and content
  • Contribute to the planning, creation, and management of content for the organization's website
  • Provide audience analysis and web writing support
  • Database management or work process demonstrations, overviews and/or instructions as required
  • Review and become familiar with all updated and new DoD policies and regulations
  • Create and/or contribute to professional writing tasks and web content administration
  • Develop and maintain a robust web-based knowledge management capability for sharing of and collaboration of programs and issues
  • Using critical thinking skill provide audience analysis and web writing support. Conduct website content administration

Requirements
Required:
  • TS/SCI
  • 2 years' experience in the following: HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, SharePoint and Database management System; shall have at least 3 years of experience in professional writing, web content administration, managing SharePoint sites and content
  • Associate degree in information technology, marketing, or communications-related area of study

Preferred:
  • Bachelor degree in information technology, marketing, or communications-related area of study
  • Scripting/programming knowledge
