Overview

Responsible for the ongoing development and support of Clean Energy & Infrastructure (CE&I) reporting platforms and business critical systems. Contribute technical expertise, troubleshooting and analytical skills, as well as effective communication abilities to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of enterprise systems. This position is well-versed in systems engineering principles and has a strong understanding of enterprise systems, including architecture, deployment, and integration. Troubleshooting abilities are crucial to identify and resolve issues promptly, minimizing system downtime and ensure uninterrupted business operations.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and support of systems by collaborating with Senior Engineers and other team members. Systems include Construction Industry Software, Microsoft SQL Server Platform, Power BI, Power Platform, SharePoint, and Robotics Process Automation (RPA)
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security, and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure optimal system operation
  • Assist in managing incidents, service requests and changes related to systems and applications
  • Handle service requests efficiently and ensure timely implementation of approved changes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting procedures and knowledge articles
  • Contribute to knowledge management initiatives by sharing knowledge, best practices and lessons learned
  • Contribute to quality assurance efforts by participating in testing activities, including system integration testing, regression testing and performance testing
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, project managers, stakeholders, and other IT teams to ensure smooth operations, project delivery and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer/Management Information Systems
  • 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Ability to maintain and support all enterprise systems, ensuring their stability and availability
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Proficient in working with SharePoint, including administration, configuration and development
  • Working knowledge with Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) for building business solutions and generating meaningful insights
  • Knowledge of RPA concepts and the ability to develop and implement automated workflows
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python to automate tasks and streamline processes
  • Knowledge of SQL server administration and ability to write complex queries using T-SQL for database management
