Job Title: Knowledge Management Specialist Job Category: Consulting Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist for the Global Mission Operations Support (GMOS) contract, supporting the Department of State. This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance national security through advanced IT solutions. You will collaborate with experienced professionals in an innovative environment, guiding a high-performing team to deliver excellence.

The GMOS contract aims to provide world-class IT support by modernizing and maintaining applications and infrastructure using an integrated IT Service Management approach. Join us to make a meaningful impact on a program of national importance. Responsibilities: Provides technical/management leadership for KMP development across global enterprise Establishes enterprise KBA development strategy conducting semi-annual reviews with stakeholders coordinating updates Establishes enterprise SOP development strategy aligning with ITIL framework and Department standards Directs technical documentation strategy maintaining enterprise architecture and data flow documentation Establishes training and user enablement strategy implementing self-help initiatives to improve user autonomy Directs KM repository management ensuring compliance with Federal Paperwork Reduction Act integrating with operational tools Establishes website management strategy ensuring collaboration, content management, records management, and business process management Provides technical/management leadership on major assignments, establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives, and directs activities with overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing Qualifications: Required - BA/BS + 13 years of relevant experience; equivalencies considered Active Secret clearance Extensive experience developing and leading enterprise Knowledge Management (KM) programs, strategies, governance frameworks, and processes within complex IT environments Demonstrated experience managing the knowledge lifecycle, including creation, validation, approval, publication, maintenance, review, retirement, and continuous improvement of knowledge content Experience developing and governing Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical documentation, and self-service content using established standards and templates Experience implementing ITIL-aligned Knowledge Management practices and integrating KM with Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, and Service Desk operations Experience managing enterprise knowledge repositories, collaboration platforms, content management systems, and/or ITSM knowledge platforms Demonstrated experience developing self-service and user enablement strategies designed to improve knowledge accessibility, reduce support demand, and increase user autonomy Experience establishing KM metrics and performance measures to assess content quality, utilization, effectiveness, knowledge gaps, and continuous improvement opportunities Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with demonstrated ability to drive knowledge-sharing, governance, adoption, and collaboration across technical and business teams Desired - Prior experience supporting federal agencies, especially the Department of State Experience supporting large-scale, geographically dispersed or global enterprise IT environments Experience with ServiceNow Knowledge Management, SharePoint, or comparable enterprise KM/content management platforms Familiarity with Federal records management, information governance, and documentation requirements ITIL, Knowledge-Centered Service (KCS), ServiceNow, or related KM certification - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
