Role Summary

The Intersect Group is seeking a Senior Associate, FP&A Projects & Anaplan COE to serve as a critical owner and champion of the company’s Anaplan platform. This role sits at the center of financial planning, analytics, and enterprise systems—ensuring that Anaplan is effectively leveraged to drive forecasting, performance insights, and strategic decision-making.

You will lead the ongoing development, governance, and expansion of the organization’s Anaplan environment, while partnering closely with FP&A and business leaders to deliver scalable planning solutions. This role combines hands-on model building, roadmap ownership, and cross-functional leadership to elevate how the business plans, analyzes, and executes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the company’s Anaplan ecosystem, including data hubs, spoke models, hierarchies, and governance structures
  • Lead the design, build, and enhancement of Anaplan models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
  • Drive the execution of the Anaplan roadmap, prioritizing enhancements and partnering with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure data integrity by overseeing integrations, reconciliations, and monthly financial tie-outs within Anaplan
  • Partner with FP&A, Accounting, Operations, and other business units to translate requirements into scalable Anaplan solutions
  • Provide actionable insights and executive-level reporting using Anaplan and complementary analytics tools
  • Mentor and develop junior team members within the FP&A Projects and Anaplan COE function
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and advanced analytics capabilities

Key Requirements
  • 3–8+ years of experience in FP&A, financial systems, or connected planning, with direct, hands-on Anaplan experience required
  • Proven expertise building, maintaining, and scaling Anaplan models in a corporate environment (this is a core requirement)
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret GAAP and non-GAAP financial statements
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with data tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, KNIME, R, or Python
  • Familiarity with enterprise data platforms (e.g., Snowflake) and financial/reporting systems (e.g., Yardi, Workiva) preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a high degree of ownership and intellectual curiosity
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge finance and technology teams

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $108,675 – $188,370, along with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus. The organization also provides comprehensive health benefits, 401(k) with company match, generous paid time off, and a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
