Role Description This is Kiteboarding and Wing Foil Instructor role based in Cocoa Beach, FL. The Kiteboarding Instructor will teach kiteboarding, wing foiling and related watersports skills to individuals and small groups, including beginners and more experienced riders. Daily responsibilities include conducting on-water and beach-based lessons, demonstrating safe equipment setup and handling, assessing student skill levels, and tailoring instruction plans to their needs. The instructor will monitor weather and water conditions, reinforce safety protocols, and provide guidance during guided sessions or tours. Additional duties include communicating clearly with guests, helping maintain equipment, supporting basic shop or check-in activities, and contributing to a positive, inclusive atmosphere for all participants.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong technical skills in Kiteboarding and Kitesurfing, with experience riding in varied conditions.
  • Must be competent in Hydrofoil Skills or eager to learn quickly.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Surf and general board sports handling to support cross-training and related lessons.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for clear instruction, safety briefings, and customer interaction.
  • Kiteboarding or kitesurfing teaching experience, instructor certifications, or coaching background are highly beneficial.
  • Ability to swim confidently, work outdoors for extended periods, and follow safety procedures in changing weather and water conditions.
  • Strong customer service mindset, patience, and the ability to work with learners of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasons as needed.
  • First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain it is a plus.
  • Knowledge and skills with jetskis
  • Valid Driver's license
