We need you to join our team as a Utility Associate:


Sinai Residences is seeking a thorough and enthusiastic Utility Associate for a full-time role. As a part of our elite culinary team, our dishwasher performs a number of kitchen activities, including pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning duties, and storing food and non-food supplies.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:


Performs dish and pot washing under the direction of supervisory personnel, general cleaning duties, and stores food and non-food supplies.

Set up the dish and pot in the washing area.

Prepares dishwashing and washes pots, dishes, and utensils.

Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes, and utensils.

Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces, and the kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.

Empties trash containers as required.

Performs light food preparation duties as needed



OTHER DUTIES:


Maintains standards for personal appearance and cleanliness.

Maintains safe and sanitary conditions.

Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.

Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:




Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.

Ability to set up and operate dishwashing equipment


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:


Must be able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per day. Must be able to bend, stoop, and stretch frequently throughout the day. Moderate to heavy physical effort needed infrequently. Manual dexterity for preparing food. Ability to use standard industrial kitchen appliances required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently. May be exposed to extreme temperatures (freezers and stove-range burners) for short periods of time. May be exposed to industrial cleaning chemicals. Must be able to see, hear, and communicate with others.
