Join Our Team as a Prep Cook at TRYSeafood FuQuay!


TRYSeafood FuQuay is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. If you enjoy working with food, staying organized, and helping a kitchen run smoothly, we’d love to hear from you!


What You’ll Do


As a Prep Cook, you’ll help prepare ingredients and keep the kitchen stocked and organized so our cooks can provide guests with fresh, high-quality meals.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards.
  • Wash, cut, chop, peel, portion, and season ingredients as needed.
  • Prepare seafood, vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients for service.
  • Properly label, date, store, and rotate prepared food and ingredients.
  • Portion ingredients to maintain consistency and reduce food waste.
  • Keep prep areas, equipment, and workstations clean and organized.
  • Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift.
  • Follow proper food-handling, sanitation, and food-safety procedures.
  • Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties.
  • Communicate with cooks and kitchen leadership about prep needs and inventory.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.
  • Assist other kitchen team members as needed.
