In 2016, Silver Tree Residential, LLC took over operations of Gambrill Gardens, LLC.
Gambrill Gardens is looking to hire self-motivated and experienced LINE COOKS. We are a quality-driven kitchen focused on delivering the finest fresh food for our Residents while being mindful of seasonality trends. Under strong direction from an Executive Chef and Sous Chef, the right candidate will be offered the opportunity to continue their education and the possibility of growth.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Prepare meals according to proper methods and cooking temperatures for best utilization
  • and yield of meats and other foods.
  • Prepare and cook resident meals in quantities according to menu and number of persons served
  • Clean equipment in accordance with sanitation requirements.
  • Maintain a clean work area and perform cleaning tasks as assigned.
  • Taste, smell, and observe all foods prepared to confirm with recipes and good taste and appetizing appearance.
  • Consistently prepare meals on time so that serving schedules are met.
  • Serve food according to dietary guidelines for individual residents to prevent food waste.
  • Prepare food for facility personnel, families, visitor, and for special occasions and events as directed by the administrator.
  • Estimate quantities of food required.
  • Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portion, and temperature control procedures and facility policies.
  • Inspect special diet trays to ensure that the correct diet is served to the resident.
  • Attend in-service education programs in order to meet facility educational requirements.
  • Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
  • Gambrill Gardens is in search for the right people to join our talented BOH team. It is not required but helpful to have at least 3 years line cook experience. Candidates should attach resumes for consideration.
