Job description

The Kitchen Shift Leader has the responsibility in directing the daily operations of a quick service restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operations, including production, preparation, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting, financial accountability, ensuring the highest quality products and services are delivered to our customers and other duties as required. The person applying for this position must have excellent communication skills. Previous management experience is a must. You must be a minimum age of 18+ years old for this job.
Kitchen Shift Leader Requirements & Responsibilities

Applicants must be able to:
Work in a fast pace Environment
Work Quickly and Efficiently
Follow Restaurant Safety and Cleanliness Guidelines
Applicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time.
Prior kitchen experience is required.
Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age upon hire date

Saturday availability is required for all team members (typical schedule includes 1-3 Saturdays/month depending on availability and needs of the business)
Responsibilities

The Shift Leader may be responsible for opening, closing, or working any shifts between such but is ultimately the driver of the shift to ensure the best possible guest experience

A Shift leader coaches, encourages, holds accountabilities, communicates goals and performance in regards to such goals, and helps breed a culture of positivity and high-performance

Shift leaders have responsibilities for the restaurant's operations, including but not limited to: opening/closing the restaurant, specific continuous improvement projects within the restaurant, overseeing team members' performance and holding the team accountable for results, identifying where "bottlenecks" exist and reassigning team members to increase flow and heighten the guest experience, etc.

Lead with an attitude of integrity, humility, and service, one of empowering others and working for the best interest of the team members and guests

Be a leader and driver of Chick-fil-A’s Business Vision and Strategy
