Are you a seasoned outside B2B sales rep experienced in the multi-unit high rise / single family / custom builder / kitchen designer, new home construction or a related industry?

Do you enjoy working with world class brands in major appliances, electronics, home furnishings, and commercial office furniture?

Is your drive to develop sales opportunities bested only by your drive to give exceptional client service?

This is a B2B role that is accountable to bringing in new business opportunities, as well as nurturing existing accounts.  The focus market segment for this role will be to further develop and grow the multi-unit residential construction industry (high rise / low rise), custom home builders, designer / renovation / independent builders, channels for The Brick / Midnorthern Appliance Commercial Division.

You will be joining a proactive and high-caliber sales team that focuses on customer experience and providing solutions. You are expected to deliver against your KPI through sales consultancy to understand the business needs of your prospects / customers, including helping them identify their undiscovered needs from the present state to the future state, to ensure customer satisfaction before, throughout and after the sale.

  • Proactively prospect for new business opportunities and onboard net new accounts.
  • Efficiently organize time spent on outside sales development, and in meetings with builder customers for major appliances at one of our commercial design centres.
  • Enhance relationship with existing accounts to identify and secure future business opportunities.
  • Assist Sr. Account Managers with major accounts and on-site visits as required.
  • Provide quotes in a timely manner to customers and ensure accuracy of details communicated.
  • Provide product specifications and generate project quotes.
  • Arrange for extended warranty, financing, delivery and installation as required.
  • Maintain an updated Salesforce log of your prospects and key accounts.
  • Meet performance targets and growth plans in co-operation with the Regional Sales Commercial Director of Quebec
  • Liaison with the commercial sales customer care team to deliver exceptional service and deliver a Best in Class overall customer experience

  • Drivers license and ability to travel 50-70% of the time within Quebec region
  • Post-Secondary Education in Business or Marketing with minimum 3 years of B2B outbound consultative sales and customer service experience or minimum 5 years of B2B outbound consultative sales and customer service experience in lieu of post-secondary education.
  • A clear understanding of “true salesmanship” that goes way beyond simply moving products or order taking.
  • Experience in providing products and / or services to the multi-unit residential construction industry an asset.
  • Knowledge of account Management with the ability to create and execute strategies within assigned territory to deliver against sales targets.
  • Outstanding Time Management skills, and Customer Service skills.
  • Having a “growth mindset and sense of accountability” are an absolute must.
