Position Summary
The Breakfast Cook is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality breakfast items for hotel guests while maintaining Hilton standards for food quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. This position plays a key role in delivering an exceptional breakfast experience through efficient food preparation, timely service, and adherence to food safety standards.
The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, passionate about culinary excellence, and able to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities Food Preparation & Cooking
  • Prepare and cook breakfast menu items, including eggs, omelets, breakfast meats, potatoes, pancakes, waffles, pastries, and other breakfast specialties.
  • Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
  • Monitor food quality, freshness, and appearance throughout service.
  • Maintain proper cooking temperatures and food safety standards.
  • Replenish food stations and buffet offerings as needed during service.
Guest Service
  • Provide a welcoming and professional guest experience.
  • Accommodate special dietary requests when possible and communicate food allergies or restrictions to leadership.
  • Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members.
  • Demonstrate Hilton's commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Kitchen Operations
  • Prepare ingredients and complete mise en place prior to breakfast service.
  • Assist with inventory control and stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
