Compensation: $120,000–$130,000 base + 10–15% bonus + profit sharing + company car

About the Role

This is a senior leadership opportunity to serve as the first dedicated Sales Director for a growing cabinet and bath company in the Raleigh market. This player-coach role is responsible for driving new business development, professionalizing existing sales and design operations, and leading a team of designers within the cabinet and bath division — while also providing oversight to the Trim Sales function.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in custom kitchen and bath cabinetry, construction-driven project flow, and relationship-based business development within the residential building market. These are must-haves for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop overall sales strategy for the cabinet and bath division
  • Manage and coach a team of 6 designers
  • Establish structured growth plans for the Raleigh market and Coastal NC expansion
  • Drive revenue growth while protecting brand and culture
  • Serve as the primary sales leader for builder relationships, ensuring consistent execution and strong pipeline management
  • Align sales operations with company standards for quality, service, and reliability
  • Occasionally step into cabinet design support to ensure continuity for clients and builders
Requirements
  • 7–10 years of experience in cabinetry, kitchen & bath design, or construction-related sales leadership
  • Proven sales leader who has scaled a $2M+ business
  • Proven success selling to residential builders in a professional, relationship-driven environment
  • Strong understanding of kitchen and bath design principles, cabinetry construction, and jobsite flow
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a sales-focused team
