Job description

The Instructional Support Specialist will be responsible for supporting customer requirements for the client(s) and assisting with all aspects of adult training to include, but not limited to course enrollment, registration support, classroom management and scheduling, and post-training evaluation collection and analysis.

  • Actively collaborate with team members
  • Manage projects independently with competing priorities
  • Support and manage the day-to-day support of learning programs
  • Assist instructor cadre in classroom reservation and set-up
  • Communicate with senior managers to plan, organize, and track the curriculum
  • Assist with conducting assessment, surveys, and focus groups
  • Ability to create and distribute post-training surveys and evaluations
  • Collect, compile, and analyze student training data and prepare reports for client
  • Candidate should have knowledge of Kirkpatrick's Four Levels of Evaluation
  • Identify and support opportunities to expand project scope beyond current deliverable and actively share information about clients' emerging support needs and trends with team members and management

Requirements

  • Must have an active TS/SCI with poly
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 4+ years of equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years working with mission support
  • Excellent facilitation skills that engage participants and students
  • Manage complex relationships with stakeholders in an environment with short deadlines and high business impact
  • Demonstrated experience using office productivity software
  • Aptitude for accurate and detail-oriented work
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Solid organizational skills, including ability to manage competing priorities for self and others, meet deadlines, and exercise good judgment
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) for providing customer service in a diverse academic environment, and for interacting with senior client management, client and adjunct faculty, and students
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to negotiate fairly and rationally, and exercise sound judgment under time pressure or in emotionally charged situations
