Procurement Specialist, Construction & Facilities
Location: Central/Mountain Time Zones
Compensation: $75,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. This position may also be eligible for an annual bonus and comprehensive benefits.
About World Fuel
At World Fuel, we support a growing network of Cardlock and Retail fuel locations across North America. We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support construction, maintenance, and facility improvement projects across our expanding site network.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in purchasing, vendor management, facilities coordination, construction administration, or project support who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You will work closely with project managers, operations teams, and vendors to help ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
What You'll Do
Procurement and Vendor Support
  • Source and obtain quotes from contractors, suppliers, and service providers
  • Support competitive bidding processes for construction and facility projects
  • Assist with vendor selection by gathering proposals and comparing pricing
  • Help maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers across multiple regions
  • Coordinate vendor onboarding and compliance documentation

Project Coordination
  • Partner with project managers to support construction, maintenance, and capital improvement projects
  • Track procurement activities and ensure materials and services are delivered on schedule
  • Monitor project-related purchases and assist with budget tracking
  • Help resolve vendor issues and coordinate communications between stakeholders

Contract and Documentation Management
  • Assist with contract administration, renewals, and vendor documentation
  • Maintain insurance certificates, service agreements, and contractor records
  • Support purchase order creation and processing
  • Ensure procurement records are accurate and up to date

Facilities and Maintenance Support
  • Coordinate sourcing for facility repairs, maintenance services, and site improvement projects
  • Support contractor scheduling and service delivery across multiple locations
  • Track vendor performance and responsiveness

Reporting and Administration
  • Maintain procurement databases and vendor information
  • Track spend, invoices, and procurement activity
  • Prepare reports and support ongoing cost management initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures

What We're Looking For
