We are looking for a fun, dynamic, experienced Kindergarten teacher for a small and sweet Kindergarten Class. Hours for this position are full-time, M-F, 6:30-3:30pm. Must have at least a Bachelor's degree in an educational related field to be considered. GA Teaching Certificate is a PLUS. Kindergarten hours are from 8:00-3:00pm. Your planning time is at the end of each day and you have an hour for lunch as well. Between the hours of 6:30am-8:00am your classroom will serve as an organized holding room for ages 4 and up as teachers arrive to pick up their classes and buses arrive to pick up elementary students for school. You will engage the students in planned activities during this time.

  • Teach children through the design thinking process with challenges that help them learn problem-solving skills, innovative thinking, executive function skills and good character.
  • Help children learn critical literacy and math skills as well as engage in projects focused on science, art, social studies and character development.
  • Work with your co-teacher to implement the lesson plans from the research-informed Balanced Learning® curriculum.
  • Discover what works best for each child (songs, stories, games, art, etc.) to motivate and stimulate their abilities.
