Description

• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions targeting various aspects of communication including language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, caregivers, families, and physicians to implement integrated care approaches.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies to support continued progress outside clinical sessions.
• Perform inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions as needed, ensuring a holistic care continuum.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in adherence to state, federal, and organization-specific regulations.
• Stay engaged with industry advancements by pursuing continuing education and fostering peer relations.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for candidates not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within the first month of employment.
