Job description

MACHINE OPERATOR 
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Machine Operator for a company based in Fairmount, GA. This role involves operating and monitoring dehacking equipment used in the brick manufacturing process to separate, unload, and transport brick products safely and efficiently. This position ensures quality standards are maintained while supporting production goals and adhering to all safety procedures. This position is full-time temporary. 
 
Pay Rate 
$16.00 per hour 
(Daily production incentive plus $50 weekly achievement bonus, if earned.)
 
Schedule and Hours 
Monday to Friday
6:00am to 3:00pm 
 
Setter Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate Dehack machinery to remove, separate, and transfer fired brick products from kiln cars or production lines.
• Monitor equipment performance and product quality, making adjustments as needed to maintain efficient operations.
• Inspect bricks for defects, damage, or quality concerns and report issues to supervisors.
• Perform routine equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Follow all safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and support daily production objectives.
 
Setter Machine Operator Qualifications and Requirements 
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience operating manufacturing or industrial equipment preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify equipment issues and perform minor troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. (in office assessment will be conducted)
