Job description

As a Kidventure Summer Camp Counselor, you’ll make a lasting impact in the lives of children while having one of the most rewarding—and fun—jobs out there. You’ll help create an environment where kids can grow, explore, and simply be kids.

  • Support camp operations by completing assigned duties and staying flexible to assist other teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with co-counselors to share camper supervision, activity leadership, and group management.
  • Lead daily camp activities through organized set-up, facilitation, and clean-up, showing readiness and adaptability.

Camper Engagement & Safety

  • Have fun with campers while maintaining clear leadership and authority.
  • Use Kidventure-approved positive behavior management tools.
  • Create a fun, engaging, and supportive camp environment where kids can thrive.
  • Maintain a safe and organized camp environment at all times.
  • By submitting this application, you are applying for a seasonal Summer Day Camp position in the Austin, Texas area, running from May through August.
