About the role
Group Fitness Instructor (On-Call) - Spencer, IN
HealthFitness is looking for a dynamic Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at our corporate fitness center in Spencer, Indiana. Step in when needed to deliver fun, motivating classes that keep participants engaged and coming back for more.
  • On-call / substitute role - flexible, as-needed schedule
  • Great chance to stay active, inspire others, and showcase your teaching style

Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.
Minimum Requirements
  • Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
  • Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
  • 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

The compensation range for this role is $25 - $30/class. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
