Direct Counsel is representing an Amlaw 100 firm seeking a highly qualified Healthcare & Life Sciences Privacy Associate to join its San Francisco or Silicon Valley office.

Practice Area: Healthcare and Life Sciences Regulatory
Experience Level: Minimum of 4 years

Position Overview:
This is a compelling opportunity to join a premier Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice advising cutting-edge companies in the digital health space. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience counseling healthcare providers, technology companies, and other healthcare-related organizations on complex regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, emerging AI laws, and healthcare fraud and abuse laws such as the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on healthcare regulatory, privacy, and AI-related matters

  • Navigate data protection laws and healthcare compliance issues

  • Draft and negotiate complex agreements related to digital health and regulatory compliance

  • Support transactional matters involving digital health companies

  • Proactively manage multiple projects and deadlines

Qualifications:
