Horticulturists working with willow trees in urban environments often encounter challenges such as limited space for root growth, soil compaction, and exposure to pollution. Willows require ample water and well-drained soil, so drought or restricted access to water sources can stress the trees. Additionally, willows can be susceptible to pests and diseases that spread more easily in dense urban settings. Addressing these challenges often involves proactive soil management, regular health monitoring, and collaborating with urban planners to ensure optimal tree placement and maintenance.
