Job Title: Keyholder
Location: Partridge Creek, MI
We are now accepting applications for our Partridge Creek Pop-Up location! Please note this is a seasonal position, running from September 1st through January 15th.
Summary of Position:
Cherry Republic's Retail Keyholder assists with the coordination of training staff, shipment of goods, arrangement of store layout, opening and closing procedures and providing overall support to the Retail Store / Management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following. As with any job, other duties may be assigned to you as appropriate.
  • To assist the Retail Management as directed while accomplishing operational and customer service-oriented tasks and responsibilities.
  • Supervise retail staff, including cashiers and other ambassadors working on the floor.
  • Continuous enforcement of Cherry Republic customer service expectations, leading by example.
  • Able to follow and enforce policy and procedures with a strong desire to provide quality customer service with a positive attitude.
  • Ensure merchandise is clean and ready to be displayed.
  • Maintain floor inventory, store should look full.
  • Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to company standards.
  • Manage the store and property when Manager is away, serve as a second set of eyes.
  • Assists with special events in store and companywide.
  • Cash Handling and Register Balancing - monitor sales staff daily when on the sales floor.
  • Continually work towards and supervise employees to monitor the appearance of Retail Store & Tasting Room and grounds.
  • Enforce Service from the Heart (SFTH), The Proven Process and training by customer service guidelines Able to apply company values to resolve issues.
  • Able to perform Ship from Store (SFTS) and Acumatica orders.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Serves as lead person for retail staff of 10 - 40 employees when Management and supervisor(s) are unavailable.
Skills You Need
  • Ability to complete tasks, meet deadlines and solve problems.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to keep records and files organized.

Qualifications for the Job -To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential Duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability you are required to possess.
Educational Requirements - High School Diploma or GED required, previous retail experience in a retail setting preferred.
Language Requirements- Ability to read. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of clients, customers, managers and the general public.
Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, you should have knowledge of our Point of Sale (POS) system including SFTS, mail order software (Acumatica).
Physical Requirements - Ability to be on foot for long periods of time walking on the sales floor with the stamina to stand stationary when using the POS system. Frequently lifting 25 lbs. or more throughout an 8-hour shift. Must be able to reach, bend, crouch, and use a ladder and tools to create displays. Frequent bagging and gift boxing when cashiering. Occasional outside maintenance is required (i.e. snow shoveling, sweeping).
Reasoning Ability - Ability to communicate accurately, timely, and thoroughly to customers and staff.

Retail store associates should maintain a flexible schedule and be available when needed at the store. Should be able to lift up to 25lbs and stand for long periods of time. Shoveling snow in winter, climb ladder when necessary to a height of 12'.
