Home Oil Company is a fast-growing, family-owned convenience store and fuel provider based in Cowarts, Alabama. We’ve served our communities for decades and are proud to offer a supportive, growth-focused work environment where employees are valued and empowered.
We’re currently seeking a motivated Shift Leader to help lead store operations, support staff, and ensure top-notch customer service.
What You’ll Do:
  • Train and onboard new employees
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve complaints
  • Open and close the store as needed
  • Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and visual appeal
  • Manage inventory, assist with ordering, and perform stock checks
  • Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately
  • Complete daily paperwork in PDI when the Store Manager is off
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations
  • Step in for the Store Manager as needed
What We’re Looking For:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous retail or convenience store experience required
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
