We are seeking a Key Accounts Manager in the Horticulture / Retail industry to lead strategic account management and growth initiatives for national retail customers and re-wholesale customer partners. This role partners cross-functionally across merchandising, replenishment, marketing, and operations to deliver programs that deliver great results to our customer while driving sales, profitability, and exceptional execution.
Role Overview
  • Ownday-to-day account leadership for an assigned buyer, including strategy,programs, forecasting, and execution-directly and through coordination ofinternal partners.
  • Serveas the primary point of contact, ensuring timely communication, accuratereporting, and alignment on key initiatives.
  • KeyResponsibilities
  • Developand execute account strategies that drive profitable growth; identifyopportunities, risks, and corrective actions.
  • Buildand maintain strong customer relationships; communicate consistently withbuyers and key stakeholders.
  • Leadprogram planning and new product/program development initiatives,including presentations, cost models, and recommendations.
  • Analyzeweekly and monthly performance; prepare reports summarizing results,trends, opportunities, and action plans.
  • Coordinateadvertising and promotional execution, including calendar management, itemsetup, pricing updates, and cost-change tracking.
  • Partnerwith replenishment and operations to optimize product flow, supportseasonal assortments, and improve sell-through and inventory performance.
  • Supportfield and representative teams with program communication, and merchandising guidance; providefeedback from market visits.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor'sdegree in Horticulture, Business, Marketing, or a related field, orequivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+years of experience in key account management, sales, or customerdevelopment (retail or consumer products preferred).
  • National Lawn & Garden Retail, Nursery Re-Wholesaler or Live Plant Sales Experience REQUIRED
  • Stronganalytical and financial acumen; ability to interpret data and translateinsights into clear recommendations.
  • Advancedproficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with customer portals andreporting tools preferred.
  • Excellentcommunication and presentation skills; ability to influencecross-functional partners.
  • Highlyorganized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in afast-paced environment.
  • Provenability to manage complex timelines, processes, and cross-functionalstakeholders.
  • Demonstratedability to balance customer requirements with internal financial goals.
