The Key Account Manager will oversee the growth and management of SellCord’s enterprise level client accounts, ensuring that our enterprise level clients receive top-tier support and guidance. You will lead a team of Enterprise Account Managers to support clients by tailoring strategies to drive account growth on Walmart Marketplace. This role requires a mix of account strategy, strong client relationship skills, and team leadership.

As a Key Account Manager at SellCord, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring their satisfaction, overseeing their success on Walmart Marketplace and growing account revenue. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-growing e-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team of Enterprise Account Managers and Enterprise Account Specialists
  • Manage the day-to-day operations for assigned accounts and act as the primary point of contact
  • Provide strategic directions for assigned accounts, contributing to overall account revenue growth
  • Prepare and deliver performance updates, replenishment reports, and meeting recaps
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth product launches and task execution
  • Coordinate with advertising managers to optimize client campaign performance
  • Monitor sales data and key performance indicators to identify trends and make recommendations
  • Maintain strong client relationships through timely and professional communication
  • Run Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with Account Manager preparation support; escalate strategic decisions to the Account Director as needed
  • Review Account Manager deliverables before client-facing delivery, providing execution oversight rather than owning execution directly
  • Set account-level growth strategy, including upsell timing, seasonal plays, and retention actions
  • Actively develop and coach Account Managers, identifying their growth track and advocating for their development
Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise level client facing roles; marketing or sales experience is a plus

  • Walmart.com and Walmart Marketplace experience is strongly preferred

  • Proficiency with G suite tools including Gmail, Google Calendar, Sheets, Google Docs, and Slack; experience with project management tools is a plus

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • High emotional intelligence and ability to adapt to different client styles

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Why It’s Awesome to Join SellCord
  • Be part of a dynamic and supportive team in a fast-growing company

  • Enjoy opportunities for professional development and career growth

  • Competitive compensation, benefits, 401K match, and paid time off days.

  • Work with cross-functional teams dedicated to innovation and operational excellence
