What is a key holder manager?

Key Holder Managers are retail or store employees who are entrusted with the keys to a business location and are responsible for opening and closing the store. In addition to these duties, they often supervise staff, handle basic administrative tasks, and ensure the security of the premises. Key Holder Managers act as a point of contact when higher management is not present and may also assist with customer service, cash handling, and inventory management. Their role is essential for maintaining smooth daily operations and upholding company policies.

How does a key holder manager balance opening and closing responsibilities with team leadership duties?
