Job description

About the Role:

We have a current opening for a Production Support Coordinator and are actively reviewing applications.

The Production Support Coordinator will support the Production and HR Teams in all training matters, including but not limited to tracking, managing policies, periodic reporting, and analysis of key metrics.


Schedule: Mon-Fri, typical daytime hours

Main Responsibilities:

Training 
   Perform quarterly audits of training matrix, communicate results of audits with Production Team 
   Participate in Food Safety and Quality Audits
   Develop training plans for coaching, train the trainer, etc. 
   Establish training structure and manage the training process for all production related training
   Communicate with trainers, trainees, supervisors, and managers to train new bid holders and backups
o    Identify trainer to train employee on the shift they will be working on and provide proper training documents
o    Notify RTOs and UGP Managers what training is needed
o    Follow up on progress of training throughout training period

Reporting
   Develop and manage KPIs for training processes
   Run and analyze series of reports for various departments (Finance, Safety, Controlling, etc.)
   Run indirect labor reports

Record Keeping
   New hire evaluation process: follow up with Supervisors on evaluations are due; follow up with trainers to determine where new hire is at regarding training
   Maintain electronic tracker and binder for all hands-on training: LOTO, Aerial Lift, Forklift, etc. 
   Manage documentation for all training sessions
   Create tracker for operator qualifications 
   Audit training records to make sure all employees are up to date for initial and annual training

Miscellaneous:
   The creation/updating of work instructions/SOP's with the assistance of cross functional team members. 
   Cross functionally with FOX and supporting functions on learning and development activities that come from problem solving events. (kaizens, A3's RCA's)
   Work closely with HR team and line managers
   Participate in internal and external audits
   Provide training to new Supervisors on training platform (Intelex or QDMS)
   Maintain an effective relationship with all trainees and trainers
o    Gather and evaluate information from employees and management on previous training to identify weaknesses and areas in need of additional training
   Coordinate monthly meetings with supervisors and managers to address areas of improvement needed in training program 

About You:

   1 to 3 years of experience preferred
   SAP Experience a plus
   Advanced knowledge and experience in Excel 
   Microsoft Access experience an asset
   Excellent organizational and time-management skills
   Strong analytical skills
   Effective communicator and collaborator
   Self-starter with ability to recognize process-improvement opportunities
   Experience with training platforms (i.e. Intelex, QDMS)

The base salary range for this position is $64,000-$72,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.

In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
