Job description

Kauaʻi Precision Cleaning LLC is seeking dependable Cleaning Technicians to deliver consistent, high-quality cleaning services at client locations throughout Kauaʻi.

Position Summary

The Cleaning Technician is responsible for performing detailed cleaning services at vacation rentals, resort condominiums, residential properties, commercial facilities, and educational environments. Team members are expected to maintain a professional appearance, follow established procedures, communicate effectively, and uphold the high standards of cleanliness and presentation our clients expect.

This is an onsite position primarily serving the East Side of Kauaʻi, including the Wailua and Kapaʻa areas, with opportunities to assist at properties throughout the island as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize assigned areas according to company checklists and quality standards

  • Perform tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, restroom sanitation, kitchen cleaning, and surface disinfection

  • Prepare vacation rental units for guest arrivals, including staging and presentation standards

  • Complete detailed inspections to ensure units meet company quality expectations

  • Report maintenance concerns, damages, missing items, or supply shortages promptly

  • Submit completion photos and task updates within scheduled timeframes

  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of company supplies, tools, equipment, and vehicles

  • Communicate clearly with supervisors regarding progress, scheduling concerns, and property conditions

  • Follow all company safety procedures and proper handling requirements for cleaning products and equipment

Required Qualifications
  • Must be capable of performing the essential physical duties of the position, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs, and performing repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the workday.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and push or pull carts, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 100 pounds.

  • Reliable transportation, dependable attendance, and the ability to report to assigned worksites as scheduled.

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship, thorough inspections, and consistent service standards.

  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work professionally and respectfully in occupied homes, vacation rentals, resort properties, educational facilities, and commercial environments.

  • Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, sanitation procedures, and the safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.

  • Ability to follow written instructions, cleaning checklists, safety procedures, and company policies.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in hospitality, vacation rental, hotel, janitorial, residential, or commercial cleaning

  • Experience following cleaning checklists and quality inspection procedures

  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment and professional cleaning products

  • Strong time-management and organizational skills

  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and daily priorities

Additional Requirements
  • Weekend and holiday availability may be required

  • Background screening may be required for certain assignments, including educational facilities

  • Must demonstrate professionalism, honesty, and respect for client property and belongings

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
