Job description

Prime Video is seeking an exceptional Sr. Art Director to join our Sports Marketing team. You will create compelling visual identities and marketing materials for our live sports properties including NFL Thursday Night Football, NBA, WNBA, NASCAR, NWSL, The Masters and more.
Our Sports Marketing creative team operates as an internal creative agency, taking projects from concept through completion

This is a hands-on role where you'll directly execute design work while guiding the broader creative vision. Your work will span digital advertising, industry partnerships, B2B materials, Ads partnerships, PR partnerships, and promotional content across Prime Video's owned and operated (O&O) placements and paid digital channels.
Success in this role requires exceptional efficiency and a solutions-oriented mindset. Live sports demands the ability to pivot quickly in response to player injuries, trades, and breaking news while maintaining high-volume creative output

You'll quickly master the technical details of our O&O placements and paid digital platforms, then build mechanisms and processes that create greater efficiency. You'll create scalable design systems that minimize subjective decision-making and production churn, enabling the team to move at the speed sports demands.
Key job responsibilities
Develop and maintain visual identities for Prime Video's portfolio of live sports properties
Create comprehensive brand guidelines and design systems that ensure consistency across all marketing touchpoints
Execute hands-on design work from initial concepts to final deliverables including key art, digital ads, partnership materials, and promotional content
Leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance creative workflows, increase efficiency, and scale production capabilities
Develop mechanisms, templates, and processes that increase efficiency and reduce complexity across projects
Build scalable design solutions that work across multiple formats, platforms, and placement types
Document learnings and best practices to benefit the broader team
Pivot quickly to address real-time sports developments including player injuries, trades, roster changes, and breaking news
Balance planned campaign work with reactive, time-sensitive creative needs
Present creative concepts and design rationale to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Collaborate with copywriters, motion designers, and production teams to deliver cohesive campaigns
Work with external agencies, media partners, and vendors when needed to scale production
Stay current with design trends, sports marketing best practices, and emerging technologies
Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers and art directors
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
