For our client, a 100% Belgian company with more than 30 years of experience in multi-channel distribution to pharmacies, baby stores, health stores and supermarkets, we are looking for a Key Account Manager Retail - Online Pharma.

From our offices and warehouse, we supply our 2,800 Belgian and Luxembourg clients (both physical and online shops). They in turn ensure that almost every “new mother” has at least one of our products at home: pacifiers, baby bottles, breastfeeding products and accessories, baby monitors, wet wipes, teething rings, manicure & pedicure products, ... In addition, we also offer a range for the strongly growing senior market, such as blood pressure monitors, thermometers, walking sticks, …

With our young and dynamic team of around 20 colleagues, we aim for long-term partnerships by distributing new international brands and continuing to optimally support the existing ones.

What you will doKey Account Management – Retail
  • You are the first point of contact for buyers at among others Colruyt, Delhaize, Carrefour, Intermarché, Cactus and Auchan.
  • You negotiate annually on assortments, marketing plans and commercial conditions.
  • You closely follow up actions during the year and align them with internal teams.
Key Account Management – Online & MediMarket
  • You manage the collaboration with major online players and MediMarket, who offer a broad brand portfolio and operate like traditional retailers.
  • You know the full portfolio and set up marketing and promotional actions which you discuss during annual agreements.
  • You brief and coordinate the execution with our marketing colleagues.
Commercial policy and strategic alignment
  • Together with the Brand Manager, you develop sales plans and ensure strong market activations.
  • You monitor profitability per client and manage the related marketing budgets.
  • You identify commercial opportunities and work closely together with the Brand Managers.
  • You prepare quarterly Business Reviews with brand manufacturers and internal sales meetings.
Management role
  • You are part of the management team and actively contribute to the strategic direction of our company.
  • You report directly to the managing director.
Profile
  • You have min. 3 years of successful experience in a similar role.
  • You have a proven track record as an Account Manager of retail clients.
  • Intrapreneurship and strategic thinking are part of your DNA.

Place of employment

You have a varied schedule that requires 2-3 days of physical presence at the headquarters (always including Friday), but you are also frequently on the road to stay connected with the shop floor.

We organize 4 times per year a quarterly sales meeting where we present all product innovations & new actions, provide specific product training and discuss sales figures.
