The Hypertension (HTN) Center Key Account Business Manager is a specialized sales role that focuses on providing value and drives performance at the Centers and affiliated out-patient clinics that are part of health networks. This role requires a blend of strong clinical expertise and successful sales background within the CVRM space, bringing pre-established relationships with centers of health networks for access. Serves as a leader for insights & knowledge sharing relative to these Centers and creates/sustains a systemic approach to influence sales goal attainment for TRYVIO within their assigned geography.

In this role you will be responsible to:

  • Build Champions and Advocacy through KOL development, engagement and advocacy among cardiologists, nephrologists and high-profile internal medicine HCPs at key AMCs and aligned HTN Centers. This will also include ongoing efforts with NP/PAs and other key stakeholders like pharmacists.
  • Drive appropriate use of TRYVIO and focus on volume growth within targeted HTN centers and HCPs by engaging key targeted HCPs to drive early appropriate use of TRYVIO within outpatient clinics through strong clinical/sales expertise and ability to work within AMCs/Integrated Delivery Systems with access to affiliated outpatient clinics.
  • Engages outpatient clinics affiliated to HTN Centers to bring awareness of TRYVIO and implements appropriate prescribing into their day-to-day systems to drive uptake/utilization to drive sales growth.
  • Attend identified conferences to gain a better understanding of the healthcare landscape and engage HCPs.
  • Build in-depth knowledge of customer needs and respond in ways that demonstrate credibility as HTN expert.
  • Collaborate with brand and internal partners to develop and deploy tailored resources and tools that support account objectives and priorities.
  • Build, routinely update strategic account plan/activities utilizing CRM capabilities aligned to business goals.
  • Achieve performance goals and leverage productivity metrics aligned to organizational objectives.

Along with demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience and 2+ years of account management experience
  • The TA experience within the broader comorbid cardio metabolic renal space including hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, heart failure, chronic kidney disease (CKD)
  • Existing HCP, KOL and key stakeholder relationships with local/regional connections within CV, nephrology and high-profile internal medicine HCPs at key AMCs and aligned HTN Centers
  • Background working within diverse academic medical centers (AMCs) and preferably working within hypertension centers following distinct delivery & treatment models
  • Background with brands within integrated delivery networks with strong experience in in-patient and outpatient settings of care
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, on average, including overnight.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $175,000-$182,00. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance
