Overview

We're seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior Manager of Account Management to lead client relationships and drive business growth across key accounts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced media environment, has a passion for storytelling through data and creativity, and knows how to turn client goals into award-winning campaigns.

You'll be the bridge between clients and our internal teams, ensuring flawless execution, strategic alignment, and long-term partnership success.

Responsibilities

Client Leadership

  • Act as the senior contact for high-value clients, fostering trust and long-term partnerships
  • Lead strategic planning and quarterly business reviews
  • Translate client goals into integrated media strategies and campaigns

Team & Project Management

  • Oversee 20-25 accounts, providing strategic insights and performance feedback
  • Ensure flawless campaign execution across timelines, budgets, and KPIs
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Media Buying, Analytics, Planning, Partners)
  • Lead strategic initiatives and special projects

Business Growth

  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Support new business pitches and RFPs
  • Monitor industry trends and bring forward innovative media solutions

Financial Oversight

  • Manage account-level P&L, forecasting, and profitability
  • Approve scopes of work, budgets, and resource allocations
  • Track brand spend pacing to meet quarterly targets
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

Apex Media Integration

  • Champion Apex media solutions across assigned agency brands
  • Present exclusive vendor programs aligned with client goals
  • Support media activations and integrated strategies
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, agency partners, and media reps
  • Deliver compelling Apex presentations and POVs backed by research and insights
  • Facilitate campaign updates and KPI delivery with Apex buying teams
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Media (Bachelor's preferred)
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ in a similar role
  • Proficient in media systems and tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Expertise in media strategy, planning, and buying across Digital, Programmatic, OOH, and Broadcast
  • Strong presentation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
  • Sales-driven mindset with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized, collaborative, and relationship-oriented
