Job description

Build Your Own Practice — With a Clinic Already Behind You

Independent Contractor (1099) | In-Person | Davenport, Iowa

We are a rapidly growing integrative mental health and wellness clinic in the Quad Cities — and we are ready to be the infrastructure behind your independent psychiatric practice. You bring the license and the clinical expertise. We bring the space, the patients, and the support system.

About Our Clinic

Quad Cities Ketamine Clinic and Quad Cities Integrative Wellness are co-owned and operated by two advanced practice providers — a CRNA and a DNP, FNP-BC — who built this clinic from the ground up to deliver interventional and integrative mental health care that the Quad Cities didn't have before.

We specialize in ketamine infusion therapy, Spravato® (esketamine), nitrous oxide, and whole-person wellness — serving patients with treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, anxiety, OCD, and chronic pain. Our patient population is actively seeking psychiatric medication management and we have no PMHNP to refer them to internally.

We operate under Iowa's full scope of practice model — no supervising physician required. We understand independent practice because we live it every day. Our expanding multidisciplinary team now includes chiropractic, massage therapy, counseling, infrared sauna, HOCATT, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, red light therapy, and zero-gravity massage. A PMHNP is the next critical piece of this puzzle — and we have patients ready.

What This Opportunity Looks Like

This is a 1099 independent contractor arrangement — structured to give you maximum clinical and financial autonomy within a fully functioning clinic environment. You are not an employee. You set your schedule, build your panel, and run your practice your way.

Compensation is revenue-based. You retain the majority of collections from your services. Our retention covers shared overhead: your dedicated office space, scheduling support, front desk, HIPAA-compliant infrastructure, billing and referral pipeline. Exact terms are discussed individually based on your anticipated patient volume and scope.

Most contractors who join us find our arrangement compares favorably to solo private practice overhead costs — without the administrative burden of building from zero.

The Arrangement at a Glance

WHAT WE PROVIDE

  • Dedicated private office space
  • Front desk & check-in support
  • Website listing & social media features
  • Credentialling and Billing
  • Warm internal referrals from ketamine, therapy & wellness providers
  • HIPAA-compliant administrative infrastructure
  • Internet, Telephone, fax & communications platform
  • Established clinic brand & reputation
  • Collegial, collaborative clinical environment

WHAT YOU KEEP

  • Full clinical autonomy — your decisions, your patients
  • Control of your own schedule and patient load
  • Majority of collections from your services
  • Ability to grow and scale at your own pace
  • No startup costs, no build-out, no lease negotiation

Your Clinical Role
  • Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnosis
  • Ongoing psychopharmacology and medication management
  • Mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, and related conditions
  • Collaboration with ketamine providers, therapists, and wellness staff — when clinically appropriate and with patient consent
  • Independent clinical decision-making and ethical practice
  • Compliant documentation with our fully customizable EHR system

Who We're Looking For
  • Licensed PMHNP-BC in Iowa (or eligible for Iowa licensure)
  • Comfortable operating independently within a supportive, collaborative setting
  • Interested in integrative and interventional approaches to mental health — ketamine, Spravato®, and beyond
  • Motivated to grow a private psychiatric practice without the cost of building from scratch
  • Professionally aligned with a whole-person, outcomes-focused philosophy of care
  • New graduates are welcome to apply — we are happy to support your early career growth

Why Join Us Now?
  • The Quad Cities is underserved for outpatient psychiatric care — demand is real and immediate
  • Our existing ketamine patient population actively needs psychiatric follow-up we cannot currently provide in-house
  • You will walk into an established referral pipeline on day one
  • Iowa's full scope of practice means no supervising physician requirement
  • We are provider-owned and operated — your colleagues understand what it means to practice independently
  • Rare opportunity to grow a practice without the financial risk of a solo startup
